Spring Spring Spring

Spring Spring Spring

Apr 01 , 2021

Sounds like the Easter Bunny hopping in, no?

Spring has arrived, at least technically as a season of the year, and with it new hope and energy. What's new and fresh with Gem City Fine Foods?

Where to start? How about since it's April 1, with an update on the April Food's Drive we highlighted on Lunch'N Watch a couple weeks ago. The drive is extended throughout the entire month, so please consider finding a nearby food pantry where you can donate some gluten free and food allergy friendly items.

We are taking entries in our first online giveaway all month! Click on this giveaway link to enter to win a Fruit Sampler AND a Pomegranate 4-pack! The winner will be drawn randomly on April 30.

If you have been following our weekly Lunch'N Watch live broadcasts on Facebook Live, you know we have sprung into spring with some fresh menu ideas. If you can't make it at 12:15 MT on Wednesday afternoons, we catalogue the broadcasts in our Vimeo library, which is easy to get to by clicking on the button at the bottome of our Home Page.

Check out our latest visit from Chef Baby Jason in Tampa Bay area, Florida, who treated us to Silvi's Ceviche and an allium free cooking demo by our own CEO Lisa Cox. We have plenty more spring goodness coming up, including a chat with Feeding Laramie Valley and with our favorite fitness guru Melissa Cox, who will help us move into spring and more active time outdoors.

Inside the bakery, we are busy as well. If you live in Salt Lake City, check us out in the bakery at Harmon's Grocery stores: the Brickyard, Cougar and West locations. You can find our 4 oz individual certified gluten free nut free Flourless Chocolate Torte, Triple Berry Streusel, Lemon Zest and Chocolate Caramel Cheesecakes there.

As always we welcome your questions and comments! Please be in touch any time on social media or by shooting us a phone call or an email.

And happy Easter!
