Autumn is a beautiful season, changing colors, changing weather, movement into a season of regular celebrations, from Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years Day. All involving food. Oh, and football! We still have football, although it's a bit weird this year, no? Although the group that convenese on Saturday afternoons for college ball, or occasionally on Sundays for a good pro game, has dwindled this year, we still enjoy good food together while watching the action. Last Sunday it was a brunch splurge with lobster benedict. (Apologies to all our shellfish allergic friends out there. This Maine girl loves her lobstah!)
Next up: Halloween. We had a blast this week picking names out of a teal pumpkin trick-or-treat bucket at the office every day this week and giving away Teal Pumpkin Prize Packs! Thanks to everyone who entered, and please keep your eyes on our social media pages for other opportunities to WIN. We love to connect with our community this way and to give back.
Then we move into Thanksgiving and Christmas- speaking of times of giving. We will hold our annual Holiday Bakery Sale again this November so those friends in the Salt Lake City area can order in advance and drop in at the bakery on November 12 to pick up cases of our certified gluten free, nut free desserts at wholesale prices. Join your friends and stock up on holiday goodies: Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pie and Peppermint Chocolate Torte.
